What Craftoria Is

Craftoria runs on NeoForge 1.21.1 and mixes nearly every flavour of modded play into one progression. Create and Modern Industrialization cover engineering; Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2 and Industrial Foregoing cover automation; Ars Nouveau and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks cover magic. The Twilight Forest and L_Ender's Cataclysm give the adventurers in your group something to fight.

The pack promises over two thousand quests, and Serene Seasons turns the year, so crops and weather change as the weeks pass. A content mod of its own, Craftoria Core, holds the recipes together. It is updated often: the release we counted, 1.37.0, came out on 13 September 2026.

How Much RAM a Craftoria Server Needs

More than the average pack, from the first day. Before anyone builds, 468 mods have registered their blocks, recipes and quests in memory, so our figure for a small group is already 8 GB. From there it follows your factories: Modern Industrialization's multiblocks, Create contraptions and a large storage network all tick for as long as their chunks are loaded.

For four to eight players we plan 11 GB, and 14 GB above that. Between those rows the difference is mostly how many separate bases your players keep loaded. The Performance line, with a full thread per vCPU, helps most on a pack like this one, where every tick has a great deal to go through.

Before You Open a Craftoria Server

Craftoria's first hours go into exploring for resources, and with this much world generation, structures and ores, every new chunk is costly. Let the World tab pregenerate the area around spawn before your group logs in. It puts Chunky on the server for you, since the pack does not ship it, and the first evenings then run on terrain that already exists.

Because the pack updates so often, pick a version and stay on it until your group agrees to move; an update can change quest recipes halfway through a chapter. Take a backup before every update. Every plan also keeps nightly backups you can go back to.

Setting Up Craftoria on Our Panel

1. Back up what is there now

   If the server already holds a world, make a backup on the Backups tab. The installer moves an old mods folder aside under a dated name instead of deleting it. A server on Paper or vanilla goes to NeoForge on the Settings tab first, because the Mods tab only shows on a server with a mod loader.

2. Search for Craftoria on the Mods tab

   Type the name and pick the Craftoria entry from CurseForge.

3. Choose version 1.37.0, or the one your group runs

   Take the exact version your players installed. Two releases can differ by a few mods, and a player whose list does not match the server's is turned away at the door.

4. Install it in one go

   The machine fetches the pack itself and switches the server to NeoForge 21.1.249 for Minecraft 1.21.1. The server pack the makers put out carries the configs, so the server starts with the same settings your players have.

5. Start it and wait for Done

   The first start loads 468 mods and builds the spawn area, which takes a few minutes. When the console prints Done, players join with the address from the panel.
