About Astroworld Hosting

We started as Minecraft server owners. We built the hosting service we wished existed, transparent, honest, and built on real hardware.

Where It Started

Astroworld Hosting grew out of Astroworld MC, a Minecraft survival server. Running that server taught us what matters to server owners because we were server owners. We dealt with the same problems everyone deals with: hosts that oversell their hardware, support tickets that go unanswered for days, control panels that feel like they were designed in 2008 and never updated.

When we decided to build a hosting service, we did not start with market research or competitive analysis. We started with a list of everything that had frustrated us as customers. Vague "unlimited" claims that actually had hidden caps. Server specs listed as "up to X" with no guarantee you would actually get X. Backup systems that technically existed but were so unreliable you never trusted them. We wanted to do the opposite of all of that.

Today, Astroworld Hosting is operated by Stetrin B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands. We are a real business with a real registration, not a teenager reselling a dedicated server from their bedroom. That said, we are still small by design. We do not have hundreds of employees or a marketing budget that rivals our infrastructure spend. What we have is a focused team, solid hardware, and a genuine understanding of what Minecraft server owners need.

What We Believe In

Transparent pricing. Our plans page shows exactly what you get and what it costs. No "starting at" pricing where the real number is hidden behind a yearly commitment. No surprise fees for features that should be standard. No add-on charges for DDoS protection or backups, those are included on every plan. When you see a price, that is the price you pay. If you want to compare our pricing to other hosts, we have a detailed comparison page that breaks it down.

Real hardware specs. We list actual CPU cores, RAM, and storage for each plan because those numbers matter. An "8 GB" plan from a host that oversells their nodes might actually give you half that during peak hours. Our plans use dedicated resources, the vCPU count and RAM allocation listed on your plan is what your server actually gets. We use enterprise NVMe drives, not budget SATA SSDs rebranded as "SSD storage."

Open-source tools. We use Pterodactyl as our control panel because it is the best panel available and it is open source. You can read the code, understand exactly what it does, and even contribute if you want. We are not interested in locking you into proprietary systems. If you ever decide to move to another host, your server files are yours and there is nothing stopping you from downloading everything through the panel.

No upselling. We do not sell "premium support" tiers or charge extra for features that should be baseline. Every plan gets the same panel, the same DDoS protection, the same backup system, and the same support. The only difference between plans is the hardware allocation, more RAM, more CPU, more storage.

Infrastructure

We operate servers in nine locations: US West, US Central, US East, United Kingdom, EU (Germany), Japan, Singapore, India, and Australia (Sydney). Every location uses the same hardware standard, enterprise processors, ECC RAM, and NVMe SSD storage. We do not run budget hardware in some locations and premium hardware in others. A Starter plan in Tokyo gets the same grade of equipment as a Starter plan in Frankfurt.

DDoS protection is active on every server across all locations. We filter Layer 3, 4, and 7 attacks upstream before they reach your instance. This is not an optional add-on, it is built into the infrastructure. Daily backups run automatically on schedule, and you can restore any backup through the Pterodactyl panel with a single click. For a full breakdown of everything included, visit our features page.

Plans range from the Starter tier at €6.39/month (on annual billing) up to the Dedicated tier at €79.99/month. The Starter plan includes 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, and 75 GB NVMe storage. The Dedicated plan goes up to 18 vCPU, 96 GB RAM, and 500 GB storage. You can upgrade at any time without migrating your data or losing your server configuration.

EU-Based Company

Stetrin B.V. is registered in the Netherlands, which means we operate under EU law. For customers who care about data protection, that means GDPR applies to how we handle your account information and billing data. Our European servers run in German datacenters, keeping server data within EU jurisdictions.

Being EU-based also means you are dealing with a legal entity that is subject to European consumer protection standards. We are not a fly-by-night operation registered in a jurisdiction with no oversight. You can find our company details, including our registration number, in our terms of service.

Small by Choice

We are not the biggest Minecraft host. We do not have a booth at every gaming convention or a referral program that pays YouTubers to read a script about us. What we do have is a service that works the way it should, run by people who actually play on Minecraft servers and understand what it takes to keep one running well.

When you open a support ticket, you are not entering a queue with hundreds of other customers waiting for a generic response from someone who has never installed a plugin. Our support team knows the difference between Paper and Purpur, can help you debug a startup crash from a server log, and will not suggest "have you tried restarting?" as a first response to every problem.

That personal approach matters more than marketing copy will ever convey. If you want to see how we compare on specs and pricing, check our comparison page. If you want to see what is included, visit features. And if you are ready to get started, take a look at the plans below.
