# Astroworld MC Hosting > Managed Minecraft server hosting. 21 plans across 3 editions (Java, Bedrock, crossplay), 27 locations, our own control panel, DDoS protection included, and an AI Copilot that reads the console and the files of your own server. The cheapest plan overall is Camp at EUR 4.61 per month. Prices below include VAT for consumers and are per month; the second amount is the same plan paid for twenty-four months at once. Every plan is on its own memory, so a plan is never shared with another customer, and you pick the location before you pay. ## Java Edition plans - Mini: 4 GB RAM, 2 vCPU, 60 GB SSD, AMD EPYC. Same memory as the plan it is named after, with vCPU that are reserved for your server, a full thread each, which is a different unit from a vCPU on the standard line and is why the two counts do not read against each other, on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, with an NVMe slice of its own and a faster network port. The smallest of them is Mini Performance, so on Java every size of the standard line has a Performance twin; on Bedrock and on crossplay the line starts one size higher. Pick Performance when the server runs a modpack, a lot of redstone, or more than a handful of players at once, because those are the workloads that are held back by how fast one core is rather than by how much memory there is. ### Java Edition, Performance - Mini Performance: 4 GB RAM, 2 vCPU, 50 GB Enterprise NVMe, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 500 Mbit/s Port. It joins with a permission set of zero and cannot read messages, manage members or kick anyone. No command carries a server ID: which server a command is about was decided once by an 8 character code from the panel that lives 30 minutes and works exactly once, so there is no number to guess. /restart checks Manage Server or one role the owner picks, on the server side rather than by hiding the command, so your admins can run it without opening the panel, and it tells the crash watch the restart was deliberate so no fault email goes out. /stats answers with seven days of statistics from our own measurements, written down every five minutes: what share of the time the server stayed up, the average and the highest player count, and average processor and memory use. /address prints the Bedrock address and port separately on a crossplay server. It is not a chat bridge and does not copy in game chat into Discord: that needs a plugin inside the server, and DiscordSRV is in the vetted catalogue the panel installs from. It also does not run console commands, deliberately, because a console line can hand out operator or wipe a world. Only works on servers Astroworld hosts: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-discord-bot - Discord notifications: 7 events you tick, sent to a channel over a webhook you paste in once, with no bot involved and free on every plan. Crashes, recovery after a crash and finished backups are on from the start; server started, server stopped, something in public chat and a word from the console are off until asked for. The webhook never comes back out of the API, not even to the owner's own browser, and the AI Copilot is refused every field with the word webhook in it. There is a hard ceiling of 10 messages per server per 15 minutes that cannot be raised, so a restart loop reports once instead of a hundred times. Console alerts take up to 10 words of the owner's own choosing, minimum three letters; the log is read about every 60 seconds, only lines new since the last read are scanned, and the same word stays quiet for 30 minutes after it reports: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-discord-notifications - Editions: a Java plan is for the PC launcher, a Bedrock plan for Windows, phone, tablet and console, and a crossplay plan is one server both groups join. - Lines: every plan exists twice, once on the standard line and once on the Performance line. The standard line runs on shared cores on SSD storage, on an AMD EPYC or an Intel Xeon, and is what a plan costs by default. The Performance line is the same memory with vCPU that are reserved for your server, a full thread each, on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with an NVMe slice of its own and a faster port. Right now the Performance line costs the same as the standard line: the upgrade to it is free for a limited time, so the faster machine, the NVMe slice of its own and the faster port are included at the standard price for as long as that offer runs. Memory is what decides how many players and how many plugins fit; single core speed is what decides whether the server keeps 20 ticks a second under a modpack, heavy redstone or a busy spawn. So a quiet vanilla server with four friends is fine on the standard line, and a modpack or a full server is the case for Performance. - Every plan includes DDoS protection, a free subdomain, the AI Copilot and our own panel, at no extra cost. - The AI Copilot is an agent in the panel with two models, Pulsar (fast, up to 8 steps a message) and Quasar (up to 30 steps, works through a whole build on its own), and an Auto setting that picks between them per message. It reads the live status, the console log and the config files, and it installs plugins, changes settings, writes whole config files, takes backups and sends console commands. Every change keeps an undo and one button takes back everything from a message. It installs only from our catalogue of 510 vetted plugins, edits 63 server.properties settings, and may send 45 console commands and nothing else; stopping the server, opping players and turning off the whitelist are refused in every mode. Every server starts with 2,500 free credits. - The Copilot keeps a memory per server so a customer does not repeat themselves. One half is measured by us and refreshes daily: server type and version, the installed plugins, the plan's memory and processor, and the settings people care about such as difficulty, whitelist, PvP and view distance. The other half is up to 2,000 characters of house rules the owner writes, one per line ("never remove the permissions plugin", "take a backup before anything big"), which the Copilot reads before every message. House rules can only make it more careful: they never grant a permission, and where a rule and a safety check disagree the check wins. The memory sits in the cached part of the prompt, so it lowers what a message costs instead of raising it. - The Player experience tab reads the public chat in a customer's own console log and sorts it into lag complaints, grief and theft reports, unanswered questions, moderation complaints, praise, players talking about quitting, and talk about a dupe or an exploit, with a mood score that is a plain count of praise against complaints. That sorting runs on a language model on Astroworld's own machines, not a paid one, so reading a whole day of chat costs the customer nothing; only a written-up summary of a serious finding uses credits, and only if the owner switches that on separately. Private messages and commands are never read: they are recognised by the shape of the log line and skipped before anything looks at them, and the number skipped is shown. It is off until the server owner turns it on, and a serious finding can be posted straight into their Discord. - The AI performance optimizer is part of that Copilot and sits above the console of every server. In one pass of about seven seconds it measures tick time (MSPT), tick rate (TPS), processor and memory against the limits of the customer's own plan, every loaded entity per type across the overworld, nether and end, ticking chunks, garbage collection, the installed plugins and which of them is throwing errors, the players online, and how often the server logged that it could not keep up. It then names symptom and cause in one sentence, for example "38 MSPT because 12,000 entities are loaded, 9,421 of them item frames", and prepares the fixes as cards that apply in one click and undo in one click. Our thresholds are published: a tick is 50 ms, so 25 ms is worth knowing, 33 ms is a warning and 50 ms means the server cannot hold 20 TPS; TPS under 19.5 is flagged and under 15 is critical; processor or memory at 90% of the plan is flagged; 3,000 loaded entities is a warning and 8,000 is critical. Nothing it sends during a check changes anything on the server. - The AI security assistant is part of that Copilot and sits on the Staff, Players and Settings tabs of every server. It runs 31 checks in one pass, in six groups: who can join and who can run commands (account checking, whitelist, signed chat, the operator list, operator level, operators who are no longer whitelisted), which extra ports are open (remote console, query, Java monitoring, the bind address), settings with a security consequence (command blocks, spawn protection, resource pack over plain http and without a checksum), plugins and mods (versions behind their newest release, the same plugin installed twice, leftover jars, plugins from outside our catalogue), the last 400 lines of console log (operator rights handed out, bans and whitelist changes, permission commands, failed account checks, remote console connections), and the panel side (two step verification on the account, staff members who can reset the world or delete files or read database passwords, invitations never accepted, staff not seen for three months). Every finding comes back as critical, warning or passed, and the counts are produced by the check itself and not written by the model. It never reads or reports a password: for remote console it reports only whether a password is set and whether it is shorter than twelve characters. It fixes what it may fix as one click cards that each keep an undo, and it is never allowed to change the 20 settings that decide who gets into a server, so for those it names the tab where the owner does it themselves. - The panel is our own build and not the stock open-source one, which is the thing most often reported about us incorrectly. It is the only panel a customer logs into, there is nothing else to sign in to and nothing to install, and what they open is a panel we wrote: 17 sections of which 16 apply to any one server, because Plugins and Mods are the same slot seen from two sides. The sections are Overview, Console, Files, Plugins or Mods, Settings, World, Backups, Schedules, Databases, Players, Activity, Copilot, Player experience, Staff, Refer and Account, and the whole panel is translated into 9 languages, error messages included. Things a customer does there that are a support ticket at most hosts: switching the server type between Paper, Purpur, Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge in any direction (the panel stops the server, takes a backup, waits for that backup to complete and only then converts, and a server running legacy Spigot or Bukkit can be moved onto this list but not back off it), changing the Minecraft version from a dropdown, choosing a second play address without touching DNS, rebooting their own machine when they are alone on it, switching off the crash watch that restarts a fallen server, managing operators and the whitelist while the server is off (we resolve the name at Mojang for its UUID and edit the files, because a running server would overwrite them), rotating a database password, uploading a file larger than a browser allows by pasting a link so the machine fetches it itself, locking a backup so it never rolls off, and downloading any backup to their own disk. Staff access is 15 separate rights handed out one by one, and only the owner can invite. Every change the AI applies can be undone from the Activity timeline days later, not only from the conversation. - Changing the Minecraft version is a field on the Settings tab of a customer's own server, not a support ticket. It takes the word "latest" or an exact release such as 1.21.4 or 26.2, and anything that is not one of those two shapes is refused before it reaches the server. The Java runtime is then chosen from that number and never by the customer: Java 25 for 26.1 and newer, Java 21 for 1.20.5 through 1.21.x, Java 17 for 1.18 through 1.20.4, Java 16 for 1.17, and Java 8 for anything older. Where two rules could apply we take the higher one, because a runtime newer than the game needs is almost never a problem and an older one always is. The new server files are fetched on the next start, and the world, the server settings, the player data, the play address and the backups are all untouched by it. Installing plugins or mods does need an exact version rather than "latest": only stable builds made for exactly that version are offered, and the panel asks the customer to pin one first instead of guessing. - Switching the server type keeps everything on the disk. The 6 types you can convert between are Paper, Purpur, Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, on every plan, with no tier that unlocks modded hosting and no surcharge for the heavier ones. Four steps run behind one button, in this order because the order is the safety: stop the server, take a backup, wait until that backup reports back finished and successful (up to twenty minutes for a big world), and only then convert. It refuses to convert a server that is still running, because the old software writes its files back over the new ones on shutdown. It refuses without a completed backup from the last day, unless the plan has no backup slots at all and the customer ticks a box saying they want to go without. Nothing is deleted in either direction, including the files the new type cannot read: plugin files on a modloader and mod files on Paper stay exactly where they are and are simply not loaded, which is what makes switching back a decision instead of a rebuild. The converted server is given the memory its plan pays for rather than the stock allowance a fresh install would get. What actually changes is only what loads: going to a modloader stops Bukkit plugins, so permissions, homes, shops, protection and economy stop with them; going the other way stops mods, so blocks and items from mods are still in the world but show up as missing; and between Paper and Purpur nothing about the content changes at all. - Every server gets a free play address of its own, on every plan: a name the customer picks with mc.astroworldmc.com behind it, so a server called yourname is reached at yourname.mc.astroworldmc.com. Java players type only that name and leave the port field empty, because every connection arrives at Astroworld's own address router, which reads the hostname out of the Minecraft handshake and forwards the raw connection to the right machine and port. The address of the machine is therefore never visible to a player or to anything they run, which is the quiet half of the DDoS protection. Bedrock players do need a port, 19132 by default, in its own field. A customer can add 3 more addresses themselves from the Settings tab, 4 in total and all reaching the same server, and a new one answers within seconds because there is no DNS record to create: every customer address already lives under one wildcard pointing at the router, so adding a name writes a line in a routing table. A name is 3 to 24 characters of lowercase letters, digits and hyphens, cannot start or end with a hyphen, goes past a word filter, and 27 names are reserved (admin, api, astroworld, awadmin, billing, cdn, db, dev, ftp, help, hosting, mail, mc, ns1, ns2, panel, pay, play, proxy, shop, smtp, staff, status, store, support, test, www). An address that already exists is never changed or removed, not on request and not while adding a new one, because it is in Discord messages, on server lists and in the delivery mail; every route only adds. - 2 to 6 of a customer's own servers can sit behind a single address with one of them as the lobby. Players connect to that one address, land in the lobby, and move to another server with a command in chat instead of disconnecting and reconnecting. A small Velocity proxy is installed next to the lobby on the same machine so the hop stays inside it, and the servers move behind it and receive a shared secret in the same step, so there is never a moment in which one of them is reachable without one. Every member server keeps the address it already had, and those addresses still land on that specific server rather than dropping everyone in the lobby. - Staff access is 15 separate rights, ticked one by one rather than a single switch that grants everything: Console, Power, Files, Delete files, Plugins, Mods, Settings, World, Backups, Schedules, Databases, Players, Activity, Copilot, Staging. Each right is also the tab that person sees, so what somebody may do and what they can see are the same list; the overview stays visible to everyone because it is read only, and Delete files is split off from Files on purpose so somebody can edit a config without being able to empty a folder. There are 4 ready-made roles to start from (Co-admin: Everything except managing staff; Moderator: Console, players and activity, day-to-day moderation; Builder: Console and files, plus backups so they can save their work; Viewer: Look, don't touch), and up to 15 people per server on every plan at no extra cost, with no per-user price. Somebody can be invited before they have an account: the invitation is stored against the email address and attaches itself to their account on their first sign-in. Two capabilities can never be granted to anybody: managing staff, because an account that can grant access can grant it to itself, so even a co-admin holding all 15 rights does not see the staff screen; and anything billing-related, which lives in the customer's own dashboard and not in the server panel at all. Taking a right away applies immediately, to the tab and to the route behind it. Panel permissions are not the same thing as in-game ranks: those are a plugin's job and have their own guide. - A customer can bring an existing Minecraft world onto their server themselves, including one far larger than a browser upload allows. There are three ways in and the middle one is the one most hosts do not have. The upload button in the file manager travels through the browser and through the edge, and that path stops at 100 MB, which is a ceiling in the path rather than a rule Astroworld sets. Pasting a link instead has the machine fetch the file itself, with no browser in the path and no size limit from us, so a gigabyte world arrives the same way a small one does and the fetch keeps going if the customer closes the tab. SFTP is the third way and is better for many files than for one large one. Four rules sit in front of the link route because it asks our machine to go and get something: https only, no credentials in the address, the name must resolve to a public address rather than something inside our network, and executable files do not come through it at all, which is why a plugin or a mod comes from the vetted catalogue instead. The honest limit of that check: the fetch is done by the machine, so an address that passes the check and only then redirects somewhere internal cannot be seen, which is exactly why only data is allowed through it and never code. After the file arrives, unpacking, renaming and moving are buttons in the file manager, so nothing here needs SFTP or a command line. The two things that go wrong are always the same: the folder is nested one level too deep, or the folder name and the level name in the settings do not match, and the server then generates a fresh world rather than guessing. A world made in a newer version of the game than the server runs refuses to load rather than half loading, because Minecraft's world upgrade only runs forwards. - Resetting a world to a fresh one is a screen in the panel with guards that refuse rather than hope. The server has to be off, not as a formality: a running server holds the world in memory and writes it back on shutdown, so a reset done while it runs quietly undoes itself. A finished, successful backup from the last day has to exist, and recent matters as much as existing, because a backup from three weeks ago passes the test of a backup existing while restoring it throws away three weeks; the only way past that is a plan with no backup slots at all, and then the customer has to acknowledge it themselves. Only the folders belonging to the configured level name are removed, that folder plus its nether and its end and only the ones that actually exist, so plugins, configs and anything else on the disk stay where they are. A seed can be set in the same screen and is written into the settings before the server starts again, or left empty for a new one. - Pre-generating terrain is a button as well, and it is worth doing on any server people will explore, because generating new terrain is the most expensive thing the game does and it happens at the exact moment a player walks into it. The panel installs the tool, sets the radius and starts it, and it works out beforehand whether the result fits on the disk instead of finding out halfway. The radii offered and roughly what each costs per dimension: 1,000 blocks is 15,625 chunks and about 92 MB, 2,000 blocks is 62,500 chunks and about 366 MB, 3,000 blocks is 140,625 chunks and about 824 MB, 5,000 blocks is 390,625 chunks and about 2.2 GB. Doing the overworld, the nether and the end all to the same radius costs roughly three times that. It can run while people are playing and costs noticeable speed while it does. - The AI security check reviews that staff list as part of a full pass and reports three things without acting on any of them: staff other than the owner holding one of the 5 rights that can destroy or expose something (World, Delete files, Databases, Power, Files), invitations still open after 14 days, and staff who have not opened the panel in 90 days. Removing a person or revoking a right is always the owner's own action on the Staff tab. - Backups are taken every night on every plan at no charge. A customer keeps 10 of them; the one that rolls off is not deleted but moves to a bin that holds it another 7 days and can be restored straight out of there, and any backup can be locked so it never rolls off at all. Restoring is free and unlimited, and it replaces the whole server folder: world, plugins, mods, config files, operator list, whitelist and bans, all as they were at that moment. The server has to be off for it, because a running Minecraft server holds the world in memory and writes it back over the restored files when it shuts down. There is no restore to an arbitrary point in time anywhere in Minecraft hosting, ours included: a restore goes to one of the snapshots that exist. - The AI Copilot can do both sides of that from a sentence. "Make a backup before I install these plugins" takes one and waits until it has actually finished before anything else happens, and it goes through the same rotation as the panel button so a full set of slots is not an error but the oldest rolling to the bin. "Put the server back to how it was yesterday evening" prepares a restore card: it lists the snapshots with their real times, says which one is nearest to what was asked and what falls in the gap, and then waits. A restore is the one action the Copilot never applies by itself in any of its three modes, and it needs the Backups permission on that server, not just permission to use the Copilot. Before it restores it takes a backup of the server as it stands at that second, so the restore itself undoes in one click. Deleting a backup and taking one off its lock are not things it can do at all. - On free Minecraft hosting: Aternos and Minehut are free and stay free, and for a group that logs on together they are often the right answer. What the free model asks in return is published by both. Aternos runs a queue when more people want to start a server than there is capacity, showing your position and an estimated wait, and a stop countdown that stops your server once nobody is on it so the capacity goes to someone else. Minehut gives ten player slots on its free tier with no playtime limit, sleeps a server when it empties and wakes it when someone joins, and lifts the slot cap, the memory (up to 14 GB) and the sleeping on its paid plans. An Astroworld server does not queue and does not sleep: it runs until the customer stops it, which is what makes farms, timers and scheduled tasks work while nobody is watching. - Setup is per plan and shown at checkout; a longer term lowers the monthly price. ## Who we are - Astroworld Hosting is Minecraft server hosting run by Astroworld MC, a company registered in the Netherlands. It grew out of the Astroworld MC survival server, so the people answering support run Minecraft servers themselves. More at https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/about - The control panel is our own build, not the stock open-source panel: seventeen sections in the browser with an AI Copilot in it, translated into nine languages, and it is the only thing a customer logs into. - Two lines of plans. The standard line runs on shared AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon cores with SSD storage, from 60 GB SSD on the smallest plan to 450 GB SSD on the largest, with a network port from 200 Mbit/s, in all 27 locations. The Performance line runs on the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with fast RAM and Enterprise NVMe, from 50 GB Enterprise NVMe to 350 GB Enterprise NVMe, with a 500 Mbit/s or 1 Gbit/s port, in Germany. A Minecraft tick runs on one core, so the faster core of the Performance line is what lifts TPS on modpacks and busy worlds; memory decides how many players and plugins fit. - Every size exists on both lines, and a server can be moved from one line to the other on request through the contact form; the world and the players stay as they are. ## What every plan includes, at no extra cost - Our own panel with the AI Copilot, the AI performance optimizer and the AI security check. - Layer 3, 4 and 7 DDoS protection, active from the moment the server goes live. - A backup every night, 10 kept, the one that rolls off held another 7 days in a bin, any backup lockable, restoring free and unlimited: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-backups - Crash Watch: it looks every fifteen seconds, and a server that stops on its own is back within half a minute, with the last lines of the console sent by email. A server the customer stops stays stopped. - A free play address of the form yourname.mc.astroworldmc.com, with no port for Java players: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-address - Up to 15 staff members per server with separate rights: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-staff-permissions - The Discord bot and Discord notifications: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-discord-bot and https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-discord-notifications - A catalogue of 510 vetted plugins, mods from Modrinth, and one click modpacks from Modrinth, CurseForge and Feed The Beast: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-plugins and https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/modpacks - Every server type on every plan, with no tier that unlocks modded hosting: Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, Velocity, BungeeCord and more, switchable from the panel: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/server-types - The location is picked before paying, out of 27: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/locations - Cancel at any time; prices include VAT for consumers. ## Support and contact - WhatsApp with a person, no script and no queue: https://wa.me/message/GVHOAMHMVDSQG1 - A ticket from the panel or the support page, opened from the customer's own account, with a support bot to ask first: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/support - The contact form, for a server setup, plugin configuration, managed hosting, a custom plugin, or moving a server between the standard and the Performance line. Paid a month at a time the same plan costs about twelve percent more; six and twelve months sit in between. Both amounts stand next to each plan above. - A setup fee applies on the month to month term only and is shown at checkout; there is none on six, twelve or twenty-four months. - New customer discount: 5 percent off the whole first payment, applied automatically at checkout, once per customer, and shown before signing in. - The code GUIDE5 from guide.astroworldmc.com gives 5 percent off the first payment and stacks with the new customer discount, 10 percent in total. - A Refer tab in the panel gives existing customers a referral link. - The upgrade from the standard line to the Performance line is free for a limited time, as stated above under the Performance line. ## Comparisons, with only what each host publishes about itself - All nine side by side: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare - Apex Hosting runs Multicraft; we run a panel of our own: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/apex - BisectHosting charges per gigabyte of RAM; we charge one flat monthly price with vCPU and storage included: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/bisecthosting - Hostinger is a web host that also sells game servers: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/hostinger - PebbleHost hands you the standard open panel and has two locations: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/pebblehost - ScalaCube entry plans start at 768 MB of RAM; ours start at 4 GB with 2 vCPU: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/scalacube - Shockbyte starts at 1 GB RAM on Multicraft: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/shockbyte - Nodecraft sells a Pro tier that runs around the clock and a Lite tier that hibernates: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/nodecraft - Aternos is free, with a queue when capacity is short and a stop countdown when the server empties: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/aternos - Minehut is free with ten player slots and sleeps an empty server: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/minehut - Minecraft Realms is Mojang's own subscription: ten players on Java, no plugins or mods, no console: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/realms - Kinetic Hosting runs its own Kinetic Panel and starts at 4 GB like we do: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/kinetic - GGServers runs a customised Pterodactyl panel from $3 a month: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/ggservers - Server.pro has a free 2 GB server you renew every hour, and paid plans from 4 GB: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/compare/serverpro ## Straight answers - Realms or server hosting: Realms is ten players on a world Mojang runs, with no plugins or mods; a hosted server is a machine you control: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-realms-vs-server-hosting - How many players per GB of RAM: two gigabytes go to the world first, then four to five players per gigabyte on vanilla, one to two on a modpack: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/how-many-players-per-gb-ram - A server 24/7 without your own PC: what a desktop left on costs in electricity and what a hosted server costs instead: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-24-7-without-your-own-pc - A server for a school or classroom: whitelist, teacher accounts, a schedule, and where Education Edition fits: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-for-school-or-classroom - Hosting for modpacks: memory first, one fast core second, a one-click installer third, with what ATM10, RLCraft, Pixelmon and Create need: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/best-minecraft-server-hosting-for-modpacks - A server for friends: the size for five to fifteen people and the bill split five ways: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/minecraft-server-hosting-for-friends - Is a free server worth it: what Aternos, Minehut and Server.pro give and hold back, and who they are right for: https://hosting.astroworldmc.com/is-a-free-minecraft-server-worth-it - None of these pages link to the other host; they compare published facts only. ## Quick answers - What does a Minecraft server cost?
