All the Mods 9 Server Hosting
All the Mods 9 puts more than four hundred mods on Forge 1.20.1 and leaves the order up to you, with a quest book to point the way and the ATM Star at the very end. A server for it depends less on the player count than on how much your group automates. Here is what it takes, with numbers we counted ourselves.
What ATM9 Is

ATM9 comes from the ATM Team and is a kitchen sink pack: nearly every large tech and magic mod of the 1.20.1 era in one instance, with recipes tied together so that each part leads into the others. Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage, Create and Powah hold up the technology side; Ars Nouveau, Botania, Blood Magic and Occultism the magic side. The Twilight Forest, the Aether, Blue Skies and Deeper and Darker add places to travel to.
The goal is the ATM Star, a crafting chain that asks for something from almost every mod in the pack. Allthemodium, Vibranium and Unobtainium, the pack's own metals, gate its later tiers. Updates have slowed down since ATM10 took over as the active pack, and release 1.1.1 from October 2025 is still the newest, so the mod list is not going to shift under your world.

How Much RAM an ATM9 Server Needs
Of the 432 mods in the pack, 415 load on the server, and they claim a good share of memory before anyone has placed a block. Our figures assume the usual ATM9 base: a Mekanism ore line, a storage network and a few mob farms. Every machine, cable and drive in that base is something the server updates many times per second, and ATM9 hands your group the tools to build thousands of them.
Two things push the number up faster than most groups expect. Mob Grinding Utils and similar farms keep crowds of creatures alive in one spot, and FTB Chunks lets teams force load their base so the machines keep working when nobody stands next to them. Every force loaded base is work the server does whether anyone looks at it or not. If your group builds big, read the row below yours; the RAM guide explains where a server's memory goes.
| Group | Memory | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 3 players | 8 GB | Standard (12 GB) |
| 4 to 8 players | 10 GB | Standard (12 GB) |
| 9 to 16 players | 14 GB | Premium (24 GB) |
Keeping an ATM9 World Fast as It Grows
An ATM9 world gets heavier with age, because nothing in a kitchen sink pack stops a team from building a second factory next to the first. The pack includes spark, so when the server slows down you can run a profile from the console and see which block or creature takes the time instead of guessing. More often than not it is a single farm or machine running far more often than it needs to.
FTB Chunks decides how many chunks each player may claim and force load, in the server config of the world, and on a public server that limit is worth keeping modest. Late in the game, the lag guide covers what else to check, and the Performance line gives each vCPU a full thread for packs that outgrow shared cores.
Setting Up ATM9 on Our Panel
Back up what is there now
If the server already holds a world, make a backup on the Backups tab. The installer moves an old mods folder aside under a dated name instead of deleting it. A server on Paper or vanilla goes to Forge on the Settings tab first, because the Mods tab only shows on a server with a mod loader.
Search for ATM9 on the Mods tab
Type the name and pick the All the Mods 9 entry from CurseForge.
Choose version 1.1.1, or the one your group runs
Take the exact version your players installed. Two releases can differ by a few mods, and a player whose list does not match the server's is turned away at the door.
Install it in one go
The machine fetches the pack itself and switches the server to Forge 47.4.0 for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Java 17. The server pack the makers put out carries the configs, so the server starts with the same settings your players have.
Start it and wait for Done
The first start loads 415 mods and builds the spawn area, which takes a few minutes. When the console prints Done, players join with the address from the panel.

Packs Close to ATM9
If your group likes ATM9 but wants the current version, ATM10 is the same idea on NeoForge 1.21.1. Craftoria and Enigmatica 10 are other large 1.21.1 packs with their own route through the mods, and MC Eternal 2 is even bigger on 1.20.1.
Questions About ATM9 Servers
ATM9 or ATM10, which one should my server run?
ATM10 is the newer pack on NeoForge 1.21.1 and is still updated regularly. ATM9 stays on Forge 1.20.1 with a mod list that barely moves any more. Take ATM9 if your group wants that version's mods or already has a world on it, and ATM10 if you are starting fresh.
How much RAM does an ATM9 server need?
A small group runs on 8 GB, four to eight players want 10 GB, and sixteen are comfortable with 14 GB. A group that automates heavily or keeps several bases force loaded should take the next row up.
Is ATM9 To the Sky the same pack?
No. ATM9 To the Sky is a separate skyblock pack from the same team, with its own mod list and its own releases. The counts on this page are for regular ATM9. The installer finds both, so pick the one your group plays.
Why does an ATM9 server take so long to start?
Because 415 mods each register their blocks, items and recipes before the world loads, and the pack also unifies ores from different mods into one while it starts. Several minutes on the first start is normal. The console prints Done when players can join.
