When another region is the better answer

Does the UK region work for Bedrock and crossplay servers?
Yes, exactly as any other region does. Console and mobile players connect the same way, and the shorter distance helps them slightly more than it helps a computer player, because a console rarely has the better connection in the house.
At what point is it worth moving from Germany to here?
Roughly when two thirds of the people who actually play are British or Irish. Below that you are paying a surcharge to make a minority faster and the majority slower.
