Dedicated Plan

Dedicated is the largest thing we run on one machine: 9 cores and 96 GB for a network, an event server for hundreds of people at once, or simply one server that should never meet its ceiling. There is no step above it in the fixed plans; past this you build your own. On the Performance line one fixed plan sits above it, Titan with 128 GB, and the builder there goes on to 192 GB.

The largest thing we run on one machine

Dedicated is 96 GB of memory, 9 vCPU and 450 GB SSD. It is the top of the fixed range, and it is bought for one of two reasons: a network that should never meet its ceiling, or a single event server that has to hold hundreds of people in one world on one evening.

Ninety-six gigabytes does not make a badly written plugin fast. What it does is remove memory from the list of things that can go wrong, so the remaining questions are all about what you run rather than what it runs on.

What to think about at this size

Backups, staff access and a restart schedule are worth more here than another gigabyte. So is the location: with players on two continents, the region you pick decides more about how the server feels than the plan does.

If this is still not enough, the next step is not a bigger plan but more than one server behind a proxy, and that is a conversation rather than a checkout.

Price

Dedicated is EUR 93.95 per month, or EUR 83.95 per month on a twenty-four month term, with no setup fee on any term of six months or longer.

One machine has a ceiling that is not memory

Minecraft still does most of its world work on one thread per world. That means 9 vCPU does not make one world twice as fast; it lets many worlds be busy at the same time. Understanding that saves people on this plan from buying more and wondering why the same farm still lags.

If one single world is the bottleneck, the fixes are inside the game: split the load across dimensions, limit entities, or move the heaviest system to its own server behind the proxy.

Operating a server this size

Backups become a schedule rather than a habit, staff access becomes a list, and a restart becomes an announced event. None of that is hosting, but all of it decides whether 96 GB feels like a big server or like a fragile one.

We keep the machine, the network and the protection in order; what runs on top stays yours, with the full console and the files to prove it.

Security at the top of the range

A large server is a target: bot joins, chat spam, and the occasional attempt to knock it offline. DDoS protection is included on every plan here, but the parts you control matter as much: a whitelist for staff access, two-factor on the panel account, and no plugin installed from a link somebody posted in chat.

The protection filters the network. It cannot filter a plugin you invited in yourself.

What support does at this size

Upgrades, moves between regions and a hand with a migration are ours; what runs on the server stays yours. That division is deliberate, because a plan of 96 GB usually belongs to someone who knows their own setup better than we do.

When you do want us in it, the console, the files and the logs are all right there, so nobody has to guess.

Who actually buys 96 GB

Three kinds of people. Networks that have run out of room on Enterprise and would rather grow than split across machines. Event organisers who need one evening to go perfectly and are not counting the monthly price. And modded communities whose pack is genuinely enormous and whose members build in it every day.

Everyone else is better served one or two steps down, and we will say so rather than sell you the top of the list.

Questions at the top of the range

Is there anything the plan does not include? No feature is held back: DDoS protection, the panel, the Copilot, the free subdomain and the location choice are on every plan from Mini upwards. What you are buying here is room, not permission.

Can I go bigger? Not as a fixed plan. From here you either build your own size on the slider or run more than one machine behind a proxy, and support will help you work out which of the two your network actually needs.

One evening this plan is built for

A launch. Three hundred people, a countdown, and a world that has to open at the exact minute it was promised. Everything about 96 GB is aimed at that evening: no swapping, no queueing behind another tenant, and enough headroom that a mistake in a plugin does not become a story on Twitter.

The night before matters more than the plan does: a rehearsal join, a pre-generated map, a restart, and one person who is not celebrating and can read the console.

The same step on the other editions

The Bedrock list tops out at World with 48 GB, and it is bought for the same reason as this one: an event, or a network that refuses to be split.

Crossplay at this size means the translation layer sits in front of a machine that is not short of anything, which is the only configuration where nobody notices it is there.

How to tell whether Dedicated is enough

If the answer is no, more memory is not the fix. At 96 GB a shortage is nearly always one world doing too much on one thread, and the fix is inside the game: split the load, cap the entities, or move the heaviest system to its own instance.

Support will look at the logs with you and say which of the three it is before anybody spends money.

A launch runbook, short version

Pre-generate the spawn area. Restart an hour before. Announce the address with the port written out. Put one person on the console who is not playing. Have a plan for the plugin you will have to disable, because there is always one.

On 96 GB none of those steps are about capacity. They are about the fact that an evening this size only happens once, and the machine is the only part of it we can promise.

What we check before handing this one over

A plan of 96 GB is set up with the memory reserved, the Java build matched to the version you picked, and the ports open for the edition you ordered. That is done before you get the login rather than after your first ticket.

From then on it is yours: full console, full file access, and support that reads the same logs you do when you ask them to.

How it compares

Dedicated has 32 GB more memory than Enterprise, for €28.00 more a month on the twenty-four month term.

What runs comfortably on it

At 96 GB the RAM guide runs out of workloads that do not fit. These are all of them: RAM guide.

Workloads the Dedicated plan's memory covers.
What you runMemory the guide lists
Vanilla 1-5 players2-4 GB
Vanilla 10-20 players4-8 GB
Light modpack (50 mods)4-6 GB

Heavy modpack (300+ mods)8-12 GB

Where you can run it

On the largest plan the location matters more than any remaining hardware choice, and you pick it at checkout: 9 locations across the US, the UK, the EU, and Asia-Pacific are included, and the Germany (EU) region costs nothing on top of the plan price. The wider network behind Astroworld has no machine big enough for this plan, so it stays on the regions we run on our own hardware.

The same plan on faster cores

Dedicated Performance is this plan on the fastest cores we run. At this size it is bought for the evening a few hundred people arrive within two minutes. It is AMD Ryzen 9 7950X or AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with 350 GB Enterprise NVMe and a 1 Gbit/s Port, at €167.95 a month on the twenty-four month term against €83.95 here. The gap is the end of line sale on the standard line: this size is being retired there, so it is 50% off for the whole term, while the faster line keeps its temporarily free upgrade: there you pay the regular standard price of this size instead of the higher Performance price, for as long as that offer runs.

Questions about Dedicated

How many players fit on Dedicated?

Dedicated is built for fifty players and up. 96 GB and 9 vCPU carries a public server with a large world, a full plugin set, or several worlds on one machine.

What does Dedicated cost per month?

Dedicated is €93.95 a month if you pay monthly and €83.95 a month on a twenty four month term, so the long term saves €10.00 every month. You pick the term in the form above, and nothing else changes with it.

What disk does Dedicated come with?

Dedicated includes 450 GB SSD at no extra cost, and 1.2 TB SSD is €10.49 a month more if your world, your backups and your logs need the room. You can add it later; the server does not have to be rebuilt for it.

Where can I run Dedicated?

Dedicated runs in 9 of our locations, and Germany (EU) is the one with nothing on top of the plan price. You choose it in step two above, and you can move later: we move the server, and the world, the plugins and the play address come with it.

What happens if Dedicated turns out too small?

Dedicated is the largest of this line, so the step from here is a build of your own where you set the memory and the cores yourself. Everything on it moves with you, and the play address does not change.

Delivery: most servers are handed over instantly and run within seconds of payment, the rest follow within 60 minutes during the day and within 12 hours at night.
