The Performance line
Dedicated Performance Plan
Dedicated Performance is the largest thing on this ladder below Titan and the only one bought for a ceiling rather than a need. Ninety-six gigabytes and 9 cores on faster silicon is an event server for hundreds of people, or a network that should never have a bad evening. Past this you are not buying a plan any more, you are buying a machine. That is what Titan is: 128 GB on hardware we prepare for your order, delivered within one day.

Bought for a ceiling, not for a need
Dedicated Performance is 96 GB and 9 vCPU, the largest thing on this ladder. Almost nobody needs this on the day they buy it. It is bought by people who know what an event evening does to a server and would rather not find out again.
The honest version: if a plan below this one is holding twenty ticks a second today, this will not make the game feel different. What it changes is the size of the crowd it takes to make it feel different.
What an event evening actually does
Hundreds of people arriving inside a few minutes is not the same load as hundreds of people playing. Joining is expensive: chunks load, entities spawn in, inventories sync, and it all lands in a short window. That window is where servers die, and it is the case this size is built for.
350 GB Enterprise NVMe of disk on a 1 Gbit/s Port is the other half of that: the world data has to come off the disk and go out over the network at the same time.
Price, and where it stops
Dedicated is EUR 70.46 a month on the twenty-four month term and Dedicated Performance is EUR 140.96, a difference of EUR 70.50.
There is nothing above this in the fixed plans on either line. Past this the answer is a machine of your own, and that is a conversation rather than a checkout.
Arrival is not the same as playing
A server holding three hundred people who are already in the world is doing steady, predictable work. The same three hundred arriving inside two minutes is a different machine entirely: three hundred chunk loads, three hundred inventories, three hundred entities appearing, all inside a window nobody can spread out.
That is why event servers fail at the start and not in the middle, and why the size that survives it is picked for the peak rather than the average. 96 GB and 9 vCPU on this line exist for the peak.
The other half is the disk and the port: 350 GB Enterprise NVMe of NVMe has to hand over the world while the 1 Gbit/s Port pushes it out, in the same seconds. Either one being the slowest part shows up to a player as the same thing, a login that hangs.
There is nothing to compare it against
Every other plan on this line has a standard plan at a similar price with more memory, and on most of them we say to take that one. Here there is no such comparison: plain Dedicated is EUR 70.46 a month on the twenty-four month term and holds the same 96 GB. There is nothing larger on either line.
So the question is not size against speed. It is whether EUR 70.50 a month is worth faster cores under the same ninety six gigabytes, and that is only worth it if the machine is regularly at its limit.
If it is not, plain Dedicated is the same server with the same memory for less, and you can move to this line later on the day it stops being enough, keeping the world, the files and the address.
The server this was built for
One evening a year where the number on the player list is the point: a launch, a season start, a charity stream, a build competition finale. The rest of the year the machine is bored.
That is not a waste. 96 GB and 9 vCPU sitting idle for eleven months is what makes the twelfth one work, and nobody who has watched a launch fail buys it any other way.
How it compares
Dedicated Performance has 32 GB more memory than Enterprise Performance, for €47.25 more a month on the twenty-four month term. If this gets tight, Titan Performance is the next step up: 32 GB more for €47.25 more a month.
What runs comfortably on it
Dedicated Performance is 96 GB, and there is nothing in our RAM guide that does not fit in it: RAM guide.
| What you run | Memory the guide lists |
|---|---|
| Vanilla 1-5 players | 2-4 GB |
| Vanilla 10-20 players | 4-8 GB |
| Light modpack (50 mods) | 4-6 GB |
| Medium modpack (100-150 mods, up to five players; 200 mods needs the next step up) | 6-8 GB |
| Heavy modpack (300+ mods) | 8-12 GB |
| Large community (50+ players) | 16+ GB |
Where you can run it
At an event the distance to the machine is felt by everybody at the same second, so the region is worth as much thought as the plan. You pick it at checkout: 9 locations across the US, the UK, the EU, and Asia-Pacific are included, and the Germany (EU) region costs nothing on top of the plan price. The wider network behind Astroworld has no machine big enough for this plan, so it stays on the regions we run on our own hardware.
The standard version of this plan
Plain Dedicated is already the largest fixed plan. On a network that has never had a bad evening, it stays the sensible one. Dedicated is €70.46 a month on the twenty-four month term against €140.96 for this one.
What a vCPU means on this line
A vCPU on the Performance line is a full thread on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X in Germany or an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with DDR5 RAM in Poland, reserved for your server for as long as you rent it. That is a different unit from a vCPU on the standard line, so the two counts are not meant to be read against each other. What decides how a server feels is how much of a tick one of them can carry, and on this line one of them carries the whole of what a thread can do.
Questions about Dedicated Performance
Is this the largest plan you sell?
No longer: until 27 September 2026 96 GB was the top of both lines. Now Titan sits above it with 128 GB, on the Performance line only, and the builder there goes up to 192 GB. Above this the answer is not a bigger plan but a second server, because one Minecraft world cannot use more than one core no matter how much you put underneath it.
What genuinely needs 96 GB?
A network of many instances, or a modded server with a large player count and a map that has been played for years. If you are asking whether your server needs this, it almost certainly does not, and the size below is the cheaper honest answer.
How much disk comes with it?
350 GB Enterprise NVMe, and larger sizes can be picked before you order. Backups are kept away from the server, so the disk on your plan is about your worlds and not about your history.
How are backups handled on a server this size?
The same way as on every other plan: they are taken for you, they are kept off the machine, and the oldest one moves to a bin that holds it for another seven days. Size does not change the schedule, and a large world simply takes longer to read.
What does it cost against plain Dedicated?
€70.50 a month more on the twenty-four month term: €140.96 against €70.46. The memory and the disk are identical, the vCPU here are reserved for your server, and the machine underneath is not the same one.
