Astroworld vs Server.pro
Server.pro sits between the free hosts and the paid ones: there is a free tier with a real amount of memory, and a paid ladder above it. Here is what they publish about both, next to ours.

A free server you renew every hour, and what the paid ladder changes
Server.pro is open about its free tier: 2 GB of memory and 8 GB of disk at no charge, renewed by hand every hour. That last part is the price. A server that has to be renewed hourly is a server that exists while you are at the keyboard, which is the same trade the other free hosts make in a different shape, and for a group that plays together it costs nothing at all. Their paid ladder is where the comparison with us starts. Their lowest paid plan is 4 GB at $7 a month with 40 GB of disk; ours is Mini at 4 GB from €7.00 a month on a twenty-four month term with 2 vCPU named on the page, so the two entry tiers are the same size, and for once the price reads like for like. On protection they split it by tier, layer 3 and 4 on the lower plans and layer 7 on the gaming tier; ours is 3, 4 and 7 on every plan. On locations they publish nine datacenters and we publish 27. What tips it for most people is not a row in the table but whether the server has to keep running when nobody is watching. A farm, a scheduled restart, a Discord plugin, a friend in another time zone: each of those needs a server that does not ask to be renewed.
The memory guide has those rows in full.
Questions people ask before switching
Do I have to renew anything here?
No. A server runs until you stop it yourself. There is no hourly renew, no sleeping and no queue, which is what makes farms, timers and scheduled tasks work while nobody is online.
Is their free tier a good deal?
For a group that plays together, yes: two gigabytes for nothing is generous. It stops fitting the day somebody wants to log in alone or the world has to keep ticking unattended.
Can I move my Server.pro world over?
Yes. Their panel has a file manager and SFTP, so download the world folder and upload it through ours. Pick the same Minecraft version at checkout and it loads as it was.
Summary
Take the free tier if your group switches the server on together and somebody is happy to press renew; it is a real 2 GB and it costs nothing. Compare their paid ladder with us rather than the free tier: same entry size, a similar price, and then the differences are the AI Copilot in the panel, protection on every plan instead of by tier, and more places to put the machine.
