Their ladder is straight, which makes this easy to check
Most hosts price in a way that makes comparing hard. Nodecraft does not: their Pro tier is €9.98 for 2 GB, €19.98 for 4 and €39.98 for 8, which is €4.99 a gigabyte the whole way up with no bend in it. So the sum is honest in both directions. 4 GB at their rate comes to €19.96 a month, and the same 4 GB in Mini here is €6.99 with 2 vCPU written on the page. The other half of their offer is Lite, and it deserves saying plainly rather than being brushed past: a Lite server hibernates when nobody is using it and wakes on a link you hand your friends. That is the same trade the free hosts make, sold at a lower price than Pro instead of at nothing, and for a group that plays together on the same evenings it is a fair deal. It is the wrong deal the moment something has to keep running while nobody watches, and that is the line worth being clear about before you pick a tier rather than after. Where they are simply better than us: eighteen locations against our 27, and a game swap that turns your Minecraft server into one of sixty-eight other games at no extra cost. If you want one bill for a machine that is Minecraft this month and something else next month, that is a real feature and we do not have it.

Questions people ask before switching
Does my server sleep here like a Lite server does?
No, there is no hibernating tier. Every plan runs until you stop it yourself, which is why a farm, a timer or a plugin on a schedule keeps working when nobody is online.
Why is the processor row empty in their column?
Because they do not publish a core count per plan, and we are not going to invent one for them. Ours is on the page for every plan, and an empty row is a more useful answer than a guess dressed up as a fact.
Can I swap my server to a different game?
Not here, and that is a real difference. We host Minecraft and nothing else, so what you can swap between is server software and versions rather than games. If you want one plan that becomes a different game next month, they do that and we do not.
Can I move my Nodecraft server over?
Yes, and their file access makes it straightforward: pull the world folder and your plugins or mods down over SFTP and upload them through our file manager. Keep the server software and version the same and the configs carry across untouched.
Summary
Compare Pro with us, not Lite: Lite is a sleeping server and ours is not, so they are not the same product at two prices. On Pro the question is what a gigabyte costs and what comes with it, and that is a sum you can do yourself from the numbers above. On breadth of games and spread of locations they win, and we would rather say so than hope you do not check.
